My 1.4 150 act was remapped to 180bhp, but it feels like my friends 1.4 remapped to 162 is faster. Is it possible for your car after it’s been remapped to actually lose its remap, was done via the ecu.

on older cars there were reports on Revo upgrades that if you took the battery out then it could cause the car to set back to standard mode but Revo dealer should fit it.
However i have not hear of this on the MK3 and my local Revo have not seen any issues.

Who did the mapping for you, it might be worth taking it back and getting them to check it out for you.
