Can VCDS turm eml off after egr delete?

Can you turn off the engine management light when its on because of egr delete.

Probably temporary. Could be it needs to be mapped out...

As above. It will reset it but fault will always comeback until it's mapped out. Very easy to do too

Will either need to find someone that can map it out or put the egr back on.

Do it yourself for the cost of an eBay cable and a bit of reading. 5 minute job. Could even get yourself a generic stage 1 map (with the EGR mapped out)

The car has already been mapped, I was told it was revo stage 1 so did the egr delete and exhaust mods so I could upgrade to stage 2 but the garage told me I don't have revo.

I wouldn't know where to start with getting a cable and doing it myself.

Ah I'd never take someones word on a car being mapped! Haven't you got receipts and proof that it had REVO? You can usually get tweaks to the map for free I think and a discount on going to Stage 2!

The revo agent was going to upgrade me to stage 2 if he found stage 1 when he plugged it in but he didn't.

The previous owner told me it had revo and when I put it on rolling Road it made 196bhp and 314ft / lb torque, which ties in with revos figures so I just assumed it had.

It obviously has had a remap at some point.
