Capacity of PM mailbox

Hi guys,

Just a thought. Whilst i know it is possible to download and save PMs in text format, I wondered if it would be possible to increase the PM mailbox size beyond 30? The only reason why I ask is that as soon as a user gets involved organising any sort of event (e.g. trackday or meet) your PM box fills up very rapidly.

I fully appreciate that all this info has to be stored somewhere and storage costs money. Having a low limit certainly focuses the mind on keeping things tidy, but my mailbox seems to be permanently in the 90% full area.

22,000 x 30 takes up a fair bit of space, add it to say 100, and that's even more space

Sorry, but until we stop growing we don't know where we'll be in the future
 
On briskoda.net, they do whats called a Freedom membership, for 12 quid per year you get a few benefits and help support the site, but more importantly a very large inbox.
 
The problem is - we don't need to charge membership (by way of the banners keeps us in the black)

We decided some years back that SCN would remain free for all - so charging isn't an option. It gives us the flexibility to close 'today' without handing out £000's in refunds (and the time to manage the membership etc)
