Car Audio DIY, passing the power cable trought firewall, how?

I have to pass the power cable from the batery to the rear of the car.

What should i look to find the hole/grommet for passing into the firewall.

A pic should be apreciated!

Maybe next to the hood cable....
I see a plastic gromet that pass the hood cable spring and i can fit inside the gromet an 8awg cable...

And the other side goes to the fuse box, right?

Is this a good place to pass the power wire troguth firewall?

Good palce, yes or no?

For anyone who got serious audio on the 6J, can post photo of the hood?

please tell me your not using that as a power wire?? thats what i would use for low end speaker wire.

I used those photos (not mine) just hooping someone will said that... but rectify the place.

saw this pics somewhere... the owner says the power cable pass on the upper place of pedals... don't know on the engine compartment where the cable goes...

Seens more easy to do the cable for the hood... right or wrong?

Anyone can post pics inside the cockpit or from the hood...

Im on to pass power cord through firewall but has no idea where is the hidden spot.
If anyone can send/share some pics from engine and cockpit view would be well appreciated.
