Do SEAT give you any car mats with thier new cars or do you have buy them yourself or negotiate as part of the deal.

Every time I buy a car its the one thing I stuipidly assume will be there on a new car and always forget to mention when I order.

SEAT carpet mats were included on my order, I hadn't at that point asked for them, the dealer automatically added them assuming 'correctly' that I would want them.

But depends on the deal your negotiating whether they'll have the profit to chuck them in free etc.

Ask if they are included, and if it has any effect on the figure you've agreed. At the end of the day, they can only say no.

I also added a boot floor carpet protector, but i paid for that separately, I wasn't bothered because the overall deal for the car was good.

When I ordered mine I made them chuck in mats and a full tank of petrol so I assume they are not included or they would have just said.

My dealer said carpet mats would be included automatically.

Were included for us when we bought the mk2 new. I didn't mention them, think they came with the car as the carpets have locators for the mats (in front at least). Didn't mention it when ordering the mk3 either (only thing I asked for was a full tank) but I expect mats to be included.

I will ask them when they ring me to confirm my build week.

Just spotted the boot protecor on Mark's pictures so will look at getting one of those as well. Looks so nice with the black sunroof.

I think UK Leons must all come with car mats as standard as when buying and finalising my deal I never mentioned car mats at all. Then when I went to see the car pre PDI the carpeted car mats were in the boot.

Its really useful, especially if your hauling any rubbish to the tip or something, or if you have muddy boots to change out of etc. Keeps the carpet like new, and the boot protector is really easy to clean itself, as and when it gets grubby just pull it out and jet wash it clean. :)

Had one in my Mk2, and had to have one for the Mk3. :)

I got mats with mine, it was ex demo though. Also asked for a boot liner which was given free no arguments, and full tank fuel. Most dealers make a good mark up so couple items sweetens the deal.

Mine were included no-cost and without me asking. I think they just come as standard, which is how it should be!

my car came with mats as well, even though I was expecting for it not to have them (not all cars in the showroom were having them).

I will use anyway the set I have already bought and keep the stock ones for bad weather
