So Im surfing about and come across this statement about Collinite 476s on the collinite site

"476s is fantastic on granite floors, worktops, fine furniture and even the glass and tiles in your shower"

Well thats excellent, except I haven't got any collinite, but I do have a nice new tub of Poorboys nattys paste wax, so do you recon the same go's for nattys as 476s,has anyone tried any car wax on granite or tiles??

I suppose on tiles in bathroom the water repellancy (whats the proper word again?) would be good[B)]

There is no way that I would use poorboys in the house...for the sole reason that the stuff just smells so good that I'd be forever wanting some Hubba Bubba... :)

Tiles are naturally water repellant anyway, unless you went for natural tiles in which case they need to be properly sealed rather than just waxed. I wouldn't use any wax or polish on the floor either, that's just asking for trouble.

i've seen people using wax on much stranger things before so i cant see it being a problem on the work tops.

as above, i wouldnt use it on the floor... i would have thought it would create a slippery surface and thats the last thing you want.

Yep Im not really thinking of the floor but the kitchens BEAUTIFULL granite work tops may be interesting, I could do some 50/50 experiments, just purely for scientific research:rolleyes::whistle:

surely using fairy liquid and bleaches etc. would strip the wax in no time??

EDIT-when the mrs goes round and does the cleaning obviously! ;-)
