Carbon Canister Resistor

I've ben through all the post and thread associated with this and found nothing conclusive.

What is the correct rating of resistor required to fool the ecu? Ohms & Watt info please.

Easy way of working it out.

Measure the voltage across the cannister when it's plugged in & engine running.

Now remove the cannister & measure the resistance.

V=IR, P=IV

P=(V/R)V will tell you the power it is consuming.

That's assuming i have a canister to measure across!! My one got chucked out by the garage owner(old man)

Well i ordered a Alcon 33ohm 50 watt resistor yesterday so i'll see how it works out.
