Carbon fibre mirror covers...

Can you buy these? And if so do they cover all paintwork or are they a direct replacement for the OEM mirror casings? Any threads/ideas will be greatfully recieved.

thanks, yeah i know about these, but if you look at them, they don't go all the way around the bottom, so then i'd have to paint my mirror housing black if you see what i mean?

I see. Have you considered buying some carbon fiber vinyl wrap in that case? Would be cheaper than getting new mirrors, and if you take your time and use a hair dryer you could heat and shrink wrap the mirrors quite well I should imagine.

i would love to have the patients to do that! I wouldn't know where to start buying that wrap, there's too much choice on e-bay and i just think it'd be really fiddley

thanks Scott, nah, they're the Ibiza mirror covers, mine are the same as the Golf/Leon etc, alot more square i'm arfaid, i'm pretty sure i'll be able to get them from some where...hopfully!
