I'm going to try and negotiate some mats...although having looked on e-bay the prices range from £12-40. As I'm looking at keeping my car a while I may opt for the genuine ones...although sis has said if they don't give them to me then i'll take the ones out of my part exchange car and use them in my new ibiza instead! Not sure they'd be an exact fit though.

First time I took my mats out to clean (about day 4) one of the plastic rings on the drivers side cracked, next time, on the passenger side, the ring stayed in place as the mat came out! Genuine Seat mats supplied foc by the dealer. Now where's that ebay link gone?

I got some lovely mats from here! They are spot on and fully customisable which is very good!
Got mine with white leather look trim and red stitching to go with my Candy White Ibiza..Beautiful!

Not yet, but I will take some this weekend and post for you. Forgot to say they are also a spot on fit aswell. You will see that once I've posted some pics.

I think the premium ones are just better quality and longer lasting. Does where your looking not say what the difference is?

premium ones usually have a deeper pile so they feel softer underfoot, look deeper and darker, rather than the standard ones, which are usually a sheet of scratchy fibre-stuff stuck to the back of some rubber

a qyuick google seems to show that the word Velpic is only ever used in conjuction with SEAT car mats.

I've got the Velpic ones (from a dealership), and they are very nice, deep enough to be classy, not too deep to be OTT. it's a SEAT not a Rolls Royce.
Im actually really impressed with them, over the past 2700 miles they've been pretty much used and abused and treated like a door mat and as such were looking shamefully grubby, but a couple of minutes going over them with a woefully underpowered petrol station hoover and they look good as new

I think dealers should throw mats in free of charge for the price we pay for cars. Fortunately my Boca comes with them free

These are really easy to clean and are very good quality.
