I always thought the RS3 would be a lot faster tbh. There's not a lot in it even over the standard R (in real world driving)

That 5 cylinder engine is a masterpiece though. Probably last of it's kind

The RS3 was on my 'list' - it was effectively ruled out as it would have been between £10k - £12k more expensive just for the base version and I would have wanted a couple of options.

The other close contender for my requirements was the SQ2

Love the RS3 engine and its sound obviously but much prefer Cupra looks. Actually apart from its exhaust it looks a bit boring to be honest.
