CD Changer

Hi All

Does anybody know where the CD changer is normally mounted in the Alhambra (not the dash mount option).

Also, does anybody know if they are pre-wired. Had a VW Bora in the past and everything was there and just had to be plugged in.

The changer is mounted in the O/S compartment in the back, alongside the third row of seats. They do sometimes have the cabling I believe it depends on the head unit

However I changed my Tape HeadUnit for an Alpine Single Disc H/U and plug in my IPOD, get more tracks than you shake a stick at...

I fitted my CD changer inside the cubby box on right hand side of boot compartment just below window ( there is a lid covering the compartment ), and if you remove the cover where the jack/wheel brace is kept and have a look around in there you should find a prewired cable and connector ( i think it is a six block connector ). This is on a 2000 model not sure about later types.

Is it the cd changer which has the capacity for 6 CDs. Playback range 5-20.000 Hz (+/- 1dB), converter D/A MASH 1bit and random playback facility. Installed inside the boot?
