central locking

so gets up this morning, in to car and drives to work , all is fine..

until i go to lock the car with key fob , nothing at all

its not battery as new one fitted at seat last week ..

the central locking works with key

any clues ?????

Could be a blown fuse. Have you checked the fuse board yet?

ok just been out and check it and it unlocks and locks with key fob....

very stange , as i was stood there for 5 mins trying to lock it this morning

It's most likely to be wear on the keyfob. The plastic 'ridge' between the two buttons ends up jamming the buttons.

I had this about 18months ago. I found that by massaging the ridge with my thumbnail, you can get it to work properly. (Dealer will tell you new key required )
