hi dose anyone know where the remote cental locking unit is on the ibiza gti MK2

If it's the same as the tdi, I think it's under the dash, somewhere towards the top. I think it's possible (but difficult) to see from the passenger footwell. Easy enough to get to with the glovebox off though.

i thought it was in the boot on the right hand side near the petrol cap?

remote ecu part is under the dash and from memory stuck under the dashtop between the glove box and the stereo

the main pnematic pump assy is in the rear 1/4 panel RH side behind the rear light tucked in by the back of the fuel flap all covered in a foam block

sorry forgot glovebox/airbag - still as long as you don't turn ignition on you won't get a light

The central looking use to work but soon as i left the battery disconnectd for about 1 month that and the toad imobilizer dint work at all i duno wat the problem is :S

trying to remember which fuse it is but make sure all the wires are reconnected battery wise (easy done) but as it's perm live you may have sparked the battery back on and popped a fuse ?

wierder things have been known

i have checked all the fueses under the drivers side there all ok any idear
