Chair Squeak

Been a while since I posted on here! Basically most of the time my chair squeaks and it sounds like its coming from the side bolsters (think that's what there called), is there any way to stop this happening as it can get quite loud some times

Nah I don't, definitely sounds like the left side of the seat, but does come and go which is odd?

My passenger seat does aswell its really annoying. I put wd40 and some tunap stuff on and it didnt cure it, I know nit very helpful -.-

Nah that does help, I was thinking of using WD40 too!

i had the same on my cupra. depended on how i sat in the seat. i put it down to the side bolsters and the seat base in the end. not alot can be done

move the seat backwards and forwards, and adjust it a bit.

mine does it in a certain position.

I fixed it, I managed to get hold of some tunap lock spray and sprayed it on the brackets all over and moved it back and forth and its stopped, woohoo!!!

Tunap 215 is a cleaner and degreaser and 138 is the intake system and egr valve cleaner,what 1 did you use.

Seen it on ebay. For all the diesel guys there is also some regen assist spray too 184 I believe,loads of other stuff too.

Just a suggestion.Dont need it for my 1.2 petrol fr but ought to have tried on my previously owned 2.0 tdi fr leon so at least I could have given u guys some valid input.
Incidentally the leon I had was really quick and the 1.2 Ibiza I just bought the mrs is a really nice and quickish motor also.[obv not in same league as the leon] but with advantage of no DPF.
