changing headunit in new ibiza fr

Just wondering if anyone has changed their headunit in there new ibiza that has the garmin sat nav? will the sat nav and hands free kit still work through the aftermarket head unit?

Interesting, would like to know too. On the one hand the head unit, garmin and remote might be tied together. You might be able to replace the head unit and get a connects2 for the remote. Then again the garmin might just be another aux in to the head unit. It's the remote-head-garmin linkage where it might come down to proprietary signalling.

I'm also interested as mine will have SPS but I'm also upgrading the stereo a bit and head unit change later in might not be out of question if SPS still works.

From what I've seen on the Zenec install video (Which is on a FL) you can install the Pre-FL hazard switch unit in the centre console, then install the Pre-FL style fascia, however they have a plug and play style wiring loom, not sure how simple it would be on a different unit.

I suppose Zenec would work with SPS but I would not be so sure about Pioneer, Kenwood or Alpine
