Well, so there is me thinking my formentor hybrid all of its annoying system bugs were about to be fixed by the software updates the dealership had it booked in for.

Last week the check engine light came on and is still on, warning message of vehicle fueling not available and it does not pop the fuel filler cap. I managed to get it to pop and tried filling it up and it spat the fuel back all over me the floor and the car.

Odd because the petrol engine is still engaging just there is 0 fuel in the tank.

Plugged it in and got code P0449 the EVAP emissions system has become faulty after only 1600 miles..

I've traced the EVAP lines from the tank to the engine bay but cannot for the life of me find the charcoal canister it's either hidden well or hidden in plain site it's the VENT solenoid that is stuck in the open position according to advanced diagnostics which should be an easy fix if only I could find the thing which is normally in close proximity to the charcoal canister.

I can only guess its behind the rear wheel arch below the tank due to lack of room under the bonnet due to the EV and combustion engine.

This is one I will have to reluctantly get the dealership to repair under warranty and be without a car for awhile as I'm not going to waste my time!.

If anyone can enlighten me as to the location of the CHARCOAL canister location it would be much appreciated.
