just q quickie is it poss to get your car chipped and re mapped or do they do the same thing? and if not would they counter act each other???

Chipping is a physical chip (hardware) soldered within the ECU containing a performance map, remapping is software where a performance map is uploaded via the OBD diagnostics port.

Yep the remap is just loaded to spare space on the existing chip rather than a new one....so yes they are both the same thing just remapping is newer, easier, safer, less obvious to a dealer etc than physically replacing a chip in the ECU

Hi there now I have a question: I have a Toledo 1.8 20V (2000)and I like to re-map it to gain 10 to 15 HP +. My mechanic have the software but any of you hace the SOFTWARE injection MAP for that engine ?.... please send it to me!!!!!!!
