I have seen the video on YouTube below and just wondered if anyone has tried to enable the green engineering menu to allow for carplay navigation whilst the virtual cockpit maps are on. Doing this with no mods disables the virtual cockpit maps.

I'm wanting to just get some advice before trying this on my 2019 Seat Leon as I know it can potentially lead to bricked systems.

I'm wanting to just get some advice before trying this on my 2019 Seat Leon as I know it can potentially lead to bricked systems.

My previous car was a '18 Leon FR with the MIB2STD infotainment unit, having Full Link, Seat Sound and also sports gauges that came with the DCC as optional extras. Later I wanted to have navigation added but it didn't have GPS antenna input so I had to replace the infotainment. I went for a fully-cracked second-hand Harman MIB2HIGH unit that also had green engineering menu enabled. After that installation by a retrofitter garage, I enabled that GEM feature you asked by myself and it worked.

So in short, I didn't do the all the patching & upgrading work and enabling the GEM myself but had no problems in enabling the dual navigation.
