Thought I'd do a thread, just to show what I'm actually driving. (And the fact I know at least one other member is a local.)

Bought It back in August from Kings Seat Dealer in Southampton. (Seem a good garage)
23,000 or thereabouts miles on the clock.
Ignore price, ended up paying 3450 for it, and then got the block insurance thing. (Keeps the value of the car if written off)

Looks Good Mate. Similar style to what I'm going for.. apart from the boot, i need the space! LMAO

When you get the Facelift bumpers, go for the Cupra/FR rear.. bit more sportier looking. (I'm after one of them too)

Yeah I was thinking that. First I need to save!!
Doesnt help either that I'm going skiing for a month from Dec 2nd!

Hah. The only way I managed to do half the stuff already (Alloys - 350, Tints - 120 i think) Was just out of the prevously sold car. Now i'm a nice amount in debt, but with a beautiful car :)

Hey there, nice progress what you've got done already, reminds me of how I did mine, masssive bass, wheels and colour coding :)

Cheers.
I think the biggest thing that pisses me off when I look at it, is that I dont have the bumpers I'd want on. But at the moment it's just a matter of saving up.

Your ride looks fab slammed - Planning on doing that the more I see it now.

Yeah facelift FR/cupra bumpers are definately worth it. I'm saving up for a rear FR bumper at the mo

Nice to see another 1.2 on here :D your car looked a bit like mine when i first had it, i'm bloody addicted to mods lately haha

Looks awesome so far, as much as I love my stereo, that ipod slot stereo is pretty funky

As for facelift bumpers, expect to pay around £100+, cupra one would be a bit more. My facelift one was roughly £100 posted. The facelift one is pretty much the same as the FR bar the grills and numerplate backing

New Sidelights came through - "LEDS T10 W5W 501 SIDELIGHTS BULBS BLUE"

img0861t.jpg

After searching for the best way to fit them, I was actually dreading it. The amount of space (or lack of) is well.... ****ing frustrating.
On top of that, I managed to actually get the bulb out, then when trying to fit the new one - It wouldnt go in!!! I thought they were too big!
Forced the bugger in and checked that it worked... success!

Manage to get both of them in (lights), Passengers side cover back on, then dropped the sidelight cover of the drivers side into the bloody wheel arch!! Cut my hands to shreds and a waste of about half an hour trying to get that bugger out.

Either way - Fitted and done :)
Will try get a pic tonight to put on when it looks a bit better. (Oh yeah I did it all in the rain aswell) :headhurt:

Those lights are awesome mate :) I must admit changing the sidelights on a MK4 is a bitch tbh, the 1.2 has the most room, on a 1.8t or PD130 you have even less room to change them ;)

Got my front for £60 and already in red! Keep prowling ebay! I managed to find a facelift bumper for 99P that stezo has on his!

You're a proper bargain hunter mate, that front bumper was a steal :D especially as its pretty close in colour

Yeah cheers again for the link Jake, just a shame I missed out on getting the valance cheap though

:-o 99p!!!

Alright will always prowl haha. Cheapest I've seen is £120!

I can just imagine my luck now though, pull out later on and the light blows or something.

Cheers Jake, I can't wait to see your Cupra spoiler :)

I'm hoping Daz will arrange another Cannock meet soon, I really enjoyed the last one
