Cleaning Carbonio

Since my Carbonio CAI is off at the minute, what is the best way to go about cleaning the filter?

Or can people recommend a different filter for it?

I have always been recommended to use something like a K&N recharge kit.

Clean the filter with running water.
Let it dry
Apply the oil
Job done

Just be careful you don't over-oil the filter

Theres a cleaner spray in that too somewhere...

Completey mate, had a stain in the porch from mud and grease i walked in with the filter from the garage, had nothing else to use, so sprayed it left it and come back ten minutes later and scrubbed it out with a damp cloth... Dyson and KnN should go into partnership i recon!
