Clicking noise from front wheel when moving

Hi there ... I am new to Leon ownership, I have just picked up a very clean/tidy 2003 Leon 1.4 however on the journey home I noticed a clicking noise from the drivers front wheel. It is only while in motion and increases with speed and not revs. seems to be one click per wheel revolution like a stone in the wheel (not this i checked) but more metallic.
Hopefully this is not anything major :-(

anyone had this or know what it might be?

It could be a cv joint or a bearing has gone. Hope this helps

Have a look for jubilee clips rubbing on cv boot

I took the wheel off and had a good look/poke around and couldn't get it to reproduce the noise or work out what it was. The noise was gone once I put the wheel back on?!? Not entirely sure what I did aside from tighten the wheel bolts up which were tight when I removed them.
Guess I won't worry about it anymore lol
