Climate control - fans not speeding up

Hi

Hoping someone can help. When I set my car to Auto the car no longer speeds up the fans to get the car to the required temperature. Air is coming out of the vents very slowly but it now takes a while to cool down and heat up on Auto. if I set the fans manually they are able to run at full speed. I've booked it in with Seat but it's £114 just for them to diagnose it.

Are you in eco mode? If yes, try switching to normal and put the temp to low.

Oh thanks, good idea. I will give this a go in the morning! I didn't think about the different driving modes.

Do a search on the forum...the climate system can be 'reset' using a button combo, this may fix it? - like rebooting your PC.

Is there not a couple of air con settings in the set up menu? Wife has the car so can’t go out and check, they might affect the speed/power of the system.
