Climate Control problem advice please

58 plate Altea Freetrack 2.0 Tdi

Climate not working. No Fault codes.
Radiator fans not running (they work on Vagcom test)
Changed pressure switch
Although there seemed to be enough system pressure garage put vacuum on for 40 mins and re filled system. Fans still not working. There appears to be a tiny bit of cooling effect when driving.
I have access to Vagcom but not an expert!

Any suggestions to where to go next?

Can anyone tell me I’d the radiator fans come on as soon as the AC is activated?

took the car on a long run this weekend. There is definitely some cooling when traveling, not much but definitely some.

I’m at a loss what to do next. If hate to spend £500 for a new pump without knowing it will cure the problem
