climate control problems

hi there
was driving along tonight and the car was quite hot, so i thought id cool myself down a bit, put the climate button and put it on Lo to blow out cold air, but it didnt it kept blowing out very hot air and kept doing this all the way home, anyone know what this problem could be and how to cure it

turned it on this morning and was all ok???

Mine did this on sunday. Nothing to do with the outside temperature. Even when set to low the air coming out of all the vents was red hot. With the air con off it would still put out unheated air not hot air if it was set to low. Mine was fine next time i went out.

ahh so thats why my air con dont work first thing on a freezing cold morning

mine dose it too from time to time, it started last winter but didn't do it all summer and only done it two or three times this winter. any one have any ideas what this could be.

Try getting vag-com on it to see if there are any fault codes.
