Evening all
Had a quick poke around the ibiza bonnet today and couldnt find a seperate reservior for the clutch. Am i right in thinking its joint with the brakes? Also only had a cursory glance but where is the location of the master cylinder for the clutch aswell?

Cheers

I don't know - I was guessing since all cars I've had in the past have had a separate reservoir for clucth fluid if the clutch is hydraulic.

If the clutch is hydraulic with a shared reservoir then there must be a pipe supplying fluid to a clutch master cylinder. I can't say I've noticed that - perhaps I've missed it.

Brake and clutch use the same reservoir

If you start to loose fluid - your clutch would stop working first and prevent you driving the car before the fluid was low enough to affect the brakes.

For what it's worth I just had a look at mine and can confirm what DEANO said.

There is a narrow grey pipe running from the fluid reservoir to what is probably the clutch master cylinder mounted on the firewall/bulkhead under the bonnet. THere is then another pipe, rather like a brake line, running to the clutch.
