clutch jumping out of third lc

nightmare.. car keeps jumoing out of third when i put it into gear. its ok if i hold it in place till i take my foot off the clutch, but otherwise it pops out and grinds!

new clutch?

I would say its your syncro for third. IF it doesnt do it in any other gear then that would point to that.

Not the clutch. It might be worth resetting the shifter cable adjustment first to see if that sorts it, but otherwise, gearbox problem.

Lol had it reset...but the main problem was the gearbox rubber plug come out and wedged itself in the shifter, if id of looked under the bonnet I would of seen it cos I found it rolling round there a couple of weeks ago. Any way did that welded exhaust hanger back on and checked for play in sus 48 quid.

But it runs again

i dropped something down there before when i pulled the airbox out and i couldnt get any gears lol took me a while to sus it out aswell
