That's interesting. I swear the garage said it was a sachs smf. My clutch isn't a paddle clutch. I had one once in a rs turbo fiesta. Was like a switch, either on or off. Mine is a performance clutch plate.

I'm still concerned how theres an SMF since the LC/LCR has a DMF as standard, so I'd get them to double check and make sure.

If it's had an SMF conversion though the popular choice is the helix kits http://www.awesomegti.com/car/seat/leon1m?subpart=ClutchesFlywheels

But in most situations it's better to just get a LUK DMF and clutch since they are OEM spec, if thats fitted with new CSC and done properly it should be exactly like stock with no issues...unless your remapped and running some insance torque at the wheels, in which case Id get some uprated kits

I have a valeo smf kit, nothing wrong with it. There can be issues mixing brands as some flywheels are slightly thicker or thinner and the same goes with pressure plates, some thicker and thinner than others. All changes are done in order to make you stick with one brand rather than mixing. Although saying that my oe flywheel was Luk and the clutch was sachs and many lcr's left the factory like this so im told.

I didn't go standard because I am running stage 2, so a smf was recommended to me. Don't think garage re-opens till 6th jan so have to patient and see what they say then.
