Hi everyone, just noticed this morning when I put my foot down a bit from around 30-40mph, that the revs suddenly spiked past 3k revs, the gear indication on the dash disappeared and and after less than half a second it felt like it re-engaged and was back to normal. Tried to recreate it a bit later and was the same story but in a higher gear and higher speed.
Any ideas what it might be? Wondering if it is the clutch giving out, but honestly hoping it's something cheaper. Drives fine the rest of the time, just can't seem to accelerate too quickly from the looks of things.
