Coast to Coast lights with warning light

Good Morning everybody

My V2 Hybrid is parked overnight on charge, I noticed last night that the rear coast to coast lights came on for approx 30 seconds, this happened several times during the night.
The dashboard was displaying a yellow triangle.

Does anybody know what is happening?

Hi, I have the same question, same conditions coast to cast light bar illuminated and yellow triangle illuminate.

I have an email enquiry into Seat Uk for an answer as to whether this is a normal function. I attempted to phone the Seat uk helpline however apparently they will only talk to the Seat dealer who are not very interested in my query.

I messaged Cupra earlier and they basically looked at the handbook and told me what the Triangle meant and then suggested that it take it to the dealer to look at.

Cheer, I have the car booked in for another issue next week and inwill see if they can resolve this issue as well. Btw what did they say about the warning triangle as mine turns green when fully charged before removing the charging cable?

The Triangle means there should be information on the screen relating to the problem, It was actually my wife that had the car at the time but she said when she opened the doors the Triangle would go off.

I will ask her to check on it again tonight and if she has the same issue to look at the screen.

My warning triangle is lit when the car is charging… if I look at the issues listed in the car service menu it says ‘door or boot or bonnet open’. I’m wondering if it’s lit because the charging flap is open?… or simply because it’s charging.?…. Or could just be another one of the many bugs.

Hi, been out in the car and now back home with 2% battery remaining. Plugged the charger in and switched on. All’s ok with the charging and once the car is locked there is a amber triangle illuminated on the dash panel.

im assumimg it’s to remind you that the charging plug is attached and the flap is open. Additionally as there seems no mention of random illumination of the coast to coast light bar it’s just part of the charging process. last time I noticed it the car was fully charged. Maybe an full charge indicator?

On a brighter note I’ve been out and about in pure electric and hybrid mode after 45 miles averaged 143mpg!

We had the same message regarding the open door etc and we have now been made aware that we have had this light issue for at least the last month.

I have booked it in with the local dealer as they dont know why its doing it either.

Regarding the mpg, my wife drives the car and it is virtually always in electric mode, she does 30 miles a day. So far we have clocked up 1673 miles and averaged 188 mpg.

Hi, that’s a good mpg, overall since the last fill mines sitting around 120!

just been watching the car charging, seems to illuminate the coast to coast light bar every hour so probably just a visual indicator that the cars charging.

I took it into the dealer, they contacted the SEAT factory and there were advised that a software update was required.

So far it seems to have cured the problem

Out of interest I also monitored my last charge cycle from 21%. The light bar seemed to illuminate at 40%, 50%, 60% etc and checked against the connect app! Seems logical now.
