They are ****ing loud even with the resonated section mine was still too much to bear (stage one auq 180 cupra, turbo back system with resonated centre)

One for sale here £80 cheaper than they are new in mint condition

They are loud yeah especially if its the full 3" turbo back and decatted like mine. I do wish I had gone for the baffled back box and resonated system - but the fear of it being to quiet is why I went for the other system.

The video on their site doenst make it sound that loud though and thats a 3" non res turbo back.

Never mind - still sounds lush though!!

Quick question.

If I fitted a 3" dp and decat onto my car with a 2.5" reducer onto the cat back system would I have to get the car mapped again???

I would say in an ideal world yes. But I myself have done so much to the car since it first got remapped that I just know come stage 2 it will be massive.

I'm waiting to fit my massive intercooler then tweaking it all. But I guess with you and your previous posts dont want to go mega power again (or am I thinking of someone else?) so I'm fairly sure a stage 1 map can be adjusted for exhaust and TIPs etc. enquirer with your remapper mate

I wouldn't mind a bit more power but like you say I really don't wanna go mental with it.

What I'm not wanting to do is have so much torque that I go over the 300lbft of torque mark which means changing rods for safety.

Ok chaps, a problem....

Any LCR owners if you decide to get this system, when the old exhaust is removed have a look at the rear bumper exhaust exit cut out. Just above where the tip sat, you will see a small bolt or nut. If i were you find something to cover it before the new exhaust goes on, or you will have this problem like i currently have...

Ah it's a vid. It was just coming up as a pic when I tried to view it.

That would seriously do my head in. It's bloody loud as well, makes the exhaust sound knackered.

Yeah its not cool. At the lights its pretty shameful, but under normal driving (obviously) cannot be heard. Nothing to do with the exhaust, its the stupid bolt that is on the bumper.

Big Eck are you lowered? Only saying cos your interested in the exhaust. But on lowered LCRs where the catback crosses over the rear beam, there is a high chance that it could rub. This is what we noticed when it was being fitted. But atm there is no rear beam vibrations at all (and im quite low), a little bit unsure why it hasnt rubbed yet as there was very little clearence.
