I just got one for £60, Paid £30 for the key from Key service on ebay which is a new key with virgin transponder and blank blade, I paid £10 from a local lock smith to cut the blade and £20 for a mate to code the key using his VagTacho to pull the code and my Vagcom to code the key.
94 is cheap for somebody to come to you and code and cut a key.
I have some aftermarket keys for sale on another forum, but sold to a few people on hear, prices from 68-120 depending on key and car, and Ill always add on travel costs too unless i have several jobs close by.
Actionman also does keys, but you haven't said where you are from?
+1 for Robert @ key service, he can also cut your new key by a photo of your old one

If someone could pm me too when near east London, need a second key cut and programed. I was told by two little key shops that they can not read the key because it is coded or encrypted and only Seat can do it. thanks

F3rAl, most timpson type shops wont program a key that cant be coped on the bench. Our cars are like this, so they dont have the tools to program them. They could cut you a blade though no problems.
RE the clifford fob, i cant do anything with those sorry, maybe craig can?

I'm in London on the 5th. Seat aren't the only people that can do these keys. Little key shops are a waste of time with most modern keys because a lot of transponders can't be cloned & that's the only way they can do keys
Brave on a saturday lol I went last weekend and havent missed my home town one bit for traffic. Increased ten fold in the last 8 years and you have to pay to drive in the congestion too wtf.
