Does anyone know if it's possible to change the soft-coding or adaption so both the ECU & Cluster think the car doesn't have ABS & Airbags.
I've completely removed both the Airbag system and the ABS system (this is a race car not a road car before anyone asks) and would like to have the diagnostics correct if possible. I know I can just remove/blank the warning lights, but am interested to know if I can do it properly.
So far we've recoded the CAN bus to 00000 and this has stopped the abs light, have also recoded the cluster so it doesn't have brake warning light etc.
Checking for DTC's I get an error about communication with abs ecu and also crash signal implausible from airbag controller, both of which I expect as the aren't in the car, but I'm hoping to disable these so the car doesn't expect them.
