I'm looking for a coilover set up and pretty keen on KW varient 1's
Spoke to Jim at Star (and due to having S3 strutt brace and Neuspeed rear ARB and new front ARB and bushes. Also front rear suspension bushes are poly) he has said that the V1's should be all I'll need due to the additional stiffening that I have. Also Jim said that 20 mm is the best height for LCR, what minimum drop have people managed with this set up as it says between 35-65mm??
Has anyone have a similar set up to this and been on a track?
I'm interested if I'm going to miss the rebound alterations that the V2's have?
Or can someone recommend a good coil over set up that they have track tested?
This is for a LCR, also will be upping power big time so want to change suspension once to cope with this also.

#I have tried search but want personal experiences#

Cheers

Im running KW V3's and front + rear Neuspeed ARB's they are set on the softest setting and dropped bout 35mm. It handles awesome round the Nurburgring over the wk end mate but im going to have a little play with them now see if i can fine tune them. Also just ordered my S3 brace hope this helps mate.

Can I ask why you went for the V 3's and not 1's or 2's
I know the threes are all singing and dancing but mega expensive
Have you had any other coil overs to compare this set up to?

I use to have Spax RSX's on my clio and that handled phonomonlly and my mate has them on his Ibiza cupra and that handles awesome but its a different ride to the KW's. I went for them because one of the members on here had had them for about 2months and decided to sell his LCR for a Lotus so there were going at a unmissible price thats why i went for the V3's but also when it comes to my car i always want the best for it so i was looking at them anyway. Alot of guys on here go for Koni and i belive this to be a good setup but i was advised with trackdays in mind to go for the V3's as they are fully adjustable
