If I remember correctly, I'm not sure though, that the hot tuning coilovers are the same ones that are being sold on www.ebay.de with many different brands like V-maxx, TA-Technix, H-Trac, Streetline, Maxxton, Hiltrac, Road-x, Street-tech etc.

If you have a picture of the set or a link to a website that sales them I could take a look if it is the same set.

A group of finnish 306 owners bought the TA-Technix ones via eBay and everyone has been very pleased with them. They say that they are very good compared to the low price. And they also come with a two year guarantee.

Also found this on Australian Golf GTI Forum:-

"....Well after running these for a month, I quite like them! I must say, the ride is rather hard and can feel a bit uncomfortable, but not as hard as my brother's gti which had FK coilies on. My suspension makes funny clunk noises now too which I've been told by a few people is just the springs and is normal on cheap coilover sets...."

Would have thought you would be better off getting some AP coilovers from AwesomeGTI for the same sort of money plus at least you know you will have some sort of warrenty or easily get a refund with AwesomeGTI.

I was in the same diemma.

I didnt want to spend more than £350.

I looked at suspension kits first off but they only drop 25mm which is hardly anything on a Fabia VRS as they ride like a tractor as standard.

I looked at the cheap ones, then Vmaxx, but wasnt convinced on the quality of them.

I saw awesome stocking the AP.

Gave them a ring and had a chat with the guy on the phone, he said that they are getting very good report back from customers. He himself said he has a fabia vrs with weitecs coilovers on, and after going in a customers car he said he wouldnt bother spending the extra on the weitecs as the AP are just as good for less money.

The way I see it awesome have a good reputation and arent going to risk tarnishing it with some cheap tat made in China.

So I've ordered some :)

They aren't the same as V-Maxx. V-Maxx are forum sponsors too iirc.
