Coilovers...mystery dents???

I had some new coilovers fitted two months ago, and ever since, ive had two mystery dents appear in both front wings in exactly the same position on both wings??! can this be anything to do with the coilovers?theres no paint damage or anything, and the dents are exactly thre same size and exactly in the same position. cheers

strange! cant say i heard of that before, have you got a strut brace? if you have and its adjustable then maybe you have over tightened it

Are the dents inwards or outwards... if you know what I mean?

Are you not just hitting the tires hard on the rim of your wheel arch, when hitting a pot hole or dent in the road, which in the long run made it dent both sides?

To clarify, I mean that your wheels are sticking out too far and catch on the wheel arch...

i also had some dents appear when i lowered my car but this was due to me and my mechanic mate having to lift the car off the ramps by the wheel arches and denting the wing with our arses!! who fitted yours???

tsr performance fitted them as i dont really have ramps or a decent sized drive. the dents are inwards in exacty the same spots! and theres seems to be no kind of rubbing or knocking from the steering.

Probably from them pushing down on the wings to test how stiff your suspension is.

Fortunately mine doesnt have them but ive seen loads of cars with them

Mine has had some dents above the wheels since i bought it almost look like someone has hit it with the handle from a jack (thin vertical dent) but ive never figured out what could have caused it. I have fitted coilovers since and no extra dents have appeared etc
