I’m looking at going down the FK coilover route, obviously the Cordy isn’t so popular as the Ibiza so its harder to find stuff listed for them in the UK anyway.

My question is, is the Ibiza setup exactly the same e.g. if i bought Coilovers to fit a mk2 cupra sport will they fit my 2.0 sx Cordy or is there a difference on the rear setup?

Cheers for the help bud, I did find them previously but I think it’s how they categorise them that sent me off in the wrong direction. Can be a tad confusing when looking for stuff for this car lol. Well I can cope with £590 that’s about what I expected to shell out but it’s worth it in my opinion.

The next question is do brave fitting them myself eeeek lol I shall probably get it done properly as coming from a Ford background things seem to be a lot more difficult with VAG stuff lol.

Exhaust wise do you guys rate the supersprint system and is the 4 branch manifold worth doing also?

Supersprint are extremly good fitment & of a good design, however there 4 branch manifold is LHD only.

Good good well I may look into one then, that's a real shitter about the 4 brancher infact im pissed about that lol, so is there any other manufacturer that does a 4 brancher that will fit? I would imagine that one for a golf GTI would fit???

Yes & no

I run a 4 branch manifold which I got from TSR that designed for the tall block ABF on the mk3 golf, but it doesn't fit the Ibiza/Cordoba without bashing in the the lower part of the bulkhead and fitting stiff engine mounts, then theres the connection between the the end of the manifold and the rest of the exhuast to make up.

Tall block ABF now that's interesting whats the difference then, tall block in golf and short block in Seat's?

Your engine will be a tall block ABF ala mk3 golf gti

Most RHD 2.0 16v manifolds up until fairly recently were for the shorter block engines on most VW's and thus wont fit the tall block engiens as theirs a 17mm difference in height between the two.
