Just found something in the paperwork from dealer from service a few months ago saying "28f8" recall work complete.

Checked with a dealer and its a coil replacement. I think it must just be a check though, unless someone has something wrong here as its a 2007 Cupra (BWJ).

I have just come back from my dealership and upon looking at the paperwork my coil pack has been replaced (Cupra 07 BWJ engine code). So it appears that they are also including BWJ engine's aswell.

Think they normally put a sticker in the boot if a recall has been done, I may be out of date though with this.

What plate is the car? It seems to be pre 08 that are affected. Coils are only £20 odd each so not a massive thing.

I had my coil packs replaced a few weeks ago by Seat (2006 Sport). I asked them if they had already been done and they simply checked their database and said that my car has not had them replaced, so booked me in there and then to have them sorted.

May be worth ringing your local dealer? Or Seat UK for the matter to see if they have a record of it?

The sticker should say:

Nummer/Number
28F8
--------------------
Job No. XXXXX
Date
Stempel/Stamp
!

I bought my 2006 car a couple of weeks ago, and it had this fresh sticker in the boot. Was done without question even though the car is nearly 7 yrs old and has non-Seat service history.
