Collecting new Rims on Friday...NEW PICS Page 2

Rondells have now gone.

Picking these up on friday night. 7x17 & 8x17 Genuine Porsche Cup 1s. Using H&R stud adaptors.

Need to get them all fitted and the ride height sorted as the car's off to the bodyshop for arch rolling, full respray and front/rear bumper smoothing.

Let me know what you think.

hmmm not sure about them mate

but as said above, your judgement was spot on with your last wheels so...

what u gonna do to them? spray them a certain colour? polished rim?

They're gonna go a darker graphite grey. I think they'll look hard as nails personally.......well.......hoping :D Time will tell. If they don't give me the look i want, then i'll sell them on.

The Rondells were great, but i couldn't run it at the ride height i wanted, the roads are rubbish round here!!

They're not that bad. How low do you want to go?

I wondered what you were going to buy mate... :)

I think they'll look sweet actually! :D

Can't wait to see the new bodywork too, I think you've got in mind exactly what I want doing re the front and rear bumpers... lol

Cheers fella.

PM me on E38 and i'll let you in on some of the ideas and test photoshops ;)

What people fail to remember, or may not have read is that Minty is going for the Euro look (correct me if I'm wrong)... And in that case, porsche rims, slammed to the floow, stretched tyres and widened rear arches = awsome!

It's be nice to have a true Euro look Ibiza on the board.

Thanks for the words of support fellas!

Yeah, i tend not to spend a great deal of time on here, but i'm going down the euro route just to clear a few things up. :D

I'm getting away from the 'usual' look of the Ibiza. Plenty of hot Euro Ibiza's on the continent, but none to speak of other here at the mo.

Pretty much every panel on the car will have some sort of work when it's at the bodyshop, subtle, but worked on all the same.

A certain VW mag has shown interest in the car already, so watch this space when it's finished ;)
