Hi All,

Have a 2016 Leon Black Edition with Auto lights / Auto Wipers.
But my leaving home lights don't seem to work.

Unlock the car at night and no lights come on the car at all until a door is opened then they light up??

Checked Infotainment settings / reset them as well.
Someone also said it might of been the light sensor... So tried to rule it out by taping over the sensor to trick it into thinking it's completely dark , But still nothing.

When I drive the car and get home , The coming home lights seem to work and stay on for the set duration after the car is locked.

So seems to be just the leaving home part..... Any ideas as it's driving me mad.

Thanks All

Forgot to ask.... I have read elsewhere possible Low voltage would this be true?
If so how would I test for this please?

There's a battery state of charge display in the instrument cluster.
When the engine is off, press the 0.0/SET button between the dials once to turn on the central information screen, then press and hold it until you see the battery charge display.

Thanks for the reply , I have tried this just now but unfortunately only get options for Time and Service come up

I may be wrong but I think the SOC stopped showing after 2016. From memory it confused to many Golf owners because it never reached 100%
