Component protection and immo off query

Hello all

I have a seat ibiza 2015 6j

I lost my keys and decided to attempt making new keys myself

i attempted to solder to the instrument cluster to the mcu (big chip)

doing so im afraid i have fried the board as it no longer powers up and is only drawing 0.52a

if i have a successful immo off done to my ecu and a used instrument cluster from another car fitted will component protection prevent my car from starting?

In this situation I would look to buy a "matched set" of immo components. You can find them on Ebay for around £100.

The mileage will need adjusting and the radio will need the code retrieving. It'll be cheaper than trying to make mix and match components work.
