Condensation

Hi i have a y plate Alhambra and in the cold days we have had i get alot of condensation build up and the heater seesm to struggle to keep the car misted free. Is this a common problem Thanks

We've got an R reg Alhambra, had the same problem for a couple of years from when we first bought it.

I changed the pollen filter (on mine it runs along the underside of the windscreen beneath the passenger side wiper) and it made an enormous difference. The filter on mine is accesible from the bonnet fairly easily.

I think the trouble with the Bammer is that there's a really large volume of moist air inside to shift. Couple that with the fact that the climate control won't take moisture out of the air below 5 degrees C - and we have difficulties at this time of year....... If the cars a bit damp inside, it'll be hard to shift.

Mine hasn't got heavy condensation, but it'll 'steam up' a bit with people in until the heaters blasts it away.
