Connects2 USB/Aux problem - Ibiza 01 Chill

I know this has been covered a long time ago although I seem to be having a problem with mine... I bought it the other day, it arrived today, I connected it all up today and nothing magical happens..

It doesn't seem to read that there is anything in the CD changer slot, and so when i press the CD button on the head unit, it displays 'CHANGER' as it thinks nothing is connected...

I have re-connected it up, all the correct way, although it still doesn't want it.. Anyone got any suggestions??
