Hi All,

I've been looking to change for a few months and am now considering a Leon ST TSi 1.4 150ps ACT FR with a few extra goodies. I've tried the 2.0 diesel, but can't justify the extra outlay as I'm doing less mileage now and also appreciate the smoothness a petrol generally brings. My dealer is getting a 140ps for me to try tomorrow.

I'm interested to hear of anyone's experience with the 1.4 TSi ACT engine that's now part of the MY15 configuration. I'm also hoping to hear how good, or otherwise, SEAT dealers and after care are particularly after Auto Expresses recent findings.

I've been driving an MG ZTT CDTi, chipped to 160bhp, for the past 11 years! It's been a fantastic car, and I'll be really sad to see her go eventually, but feel now is the time to renew.

All the best

can't help on the engine front as I'm a TDi user. Which I find really smooth, due to the huge amount of torque.
But the ST is a fine car, engines are a matter of personal choice as much as anything. You might find yours meets euro 6 emission regs, if it's really an MY15.
You want to check the dealer doesn't slip an old version in, unless you don't care about regs and can get a deal on a euro5-compliant car...what spec are you thinking of?
enjoy anyway

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your feedback.

I really enjoyed the car on my test drive, but am going to have to look elsewhere as access to the rear seats was too limited for a family member who I take around quite a bit.

Hope you continue to enjoy your car.

Best regards

I have an elderly disabled cousin I take out to lunch and shopping every few weeks; she sits in the front, and does find the Leon FR a bit more difficult to enter and exit compared with my previous E Class....the opening IS smaller, it's a little lower, and the side bolsters are awkward for her. But she manages. Not sure she'd manage the back seat at all.
good luck anyway
