Cooking fan issues!

Evening all, I have recently purchased an 04plate pd130 ibiza, the other day when I got to work the cooling fans wee spinning on the fastest speed and didn't **** down so I had to disconnect the Barry to stop it dying. Has anyone has this issue before or ever heard of it? I'm going to replace the cooling fan switch on the bottom of the radiator. Thanks for any help

How Long did you leave it for? They will sometimes keep going after shut down for a few mins, not sure how long tho, I never really paid any attention to it.

It just stays on constantly until I disconnect the battery or fuse, think it might be the fab itself
