Cooling Fan for A/C

66 plate Ibiza 1.2 TSI, could I ask if the cooling fan should run on low speed on activation of the aircon, mine doesnt, so I'm in to diagnosing, fan fuse replaced, fan control module swapped, no fan on A/C, so i guess its now on to fans themselves, but before I do, I want to be sure of normal operation

There might not be enough fridge gas in the system, so effectively the system is protecting itself and so not operating - and so not running the fan.

Time for a proper diagnostic scan, using a scan tool that can reveal/read all possible HVAC system fault codes that are available, from the HVAC controller.

Thanks, air con has just been repaired and that’s how we now know about this other issue

So after getting some professional help, this low speed issue turned out to be a missing fuse in the interior fuse box that’s marked up as something loosely related to fans! Hopefully all sorted, although i did feel a bit silly
