Copper wing mirrors, yay or nay

I've ordered my Cupra in black which I'm somewhat regretting as it will lack any contrast which all other colours will have (roof bars, wing mirrors, lettering etc).

I was debating changing the wing mirrors to a silver or grey, 140i or Golf R style but obviously it won't work on the Cupra as it's just throwing in another colour that won't tie with anything which leaves me wondering whether a copper contrast would work.

Has anyone done this? Does it work or look a little naff?

Ok, but I think the copper badges will look great against the black.

I wouldn't, but that's just me.

Just my opinion I think copper looks a bit tacky. Some chrome mirrors like the ones the S3/R's have would look naughty on a Leon.

I fitted "Chrome" mirrors to my black ibiza in 2007 took them off after a week, a matte chrome could work like an S3.

Sorry but not a fan of Copper anything on a car, as I work for Scottish Water, it is for pipes.

I must be the complete opposite to most on here, personally think the silver badges look more tacky than the copper, but each to their own!

Fair enough, each to their own. But you must think most cars look tacky then because they almost all have silver badges.
