crackling bloody door speakers

my door speakers have started crackling like mad, its doing my nut right in, i can tell thee. the ones at the top of the door , anyone had similar problems

Either:

Loose connection (like tinsel lead)
Blown speaker (if you play loud)
Blown output in the H/U amp.

Give it's both at the same time, that's unlikely to be 1.

Take them out and have a look. Sounds terminal though.

You've pushed the peakers too far and blown the tweeters. Common problem with the standard kit.

The little tweeter things in the door, can after market ones be bought that fit in there for a Mk4 Ibiza?

i only play music at half the volume though' dont mind having to buy new ones, better than that bloody crackling

i went and seen my brother in law tonight, he's an auto electrician. my tweeters are indeed knackered. need two new ones, he's going to put more powerfull ones in. no more bloody crackling then.
