Hello guys,

I'm up to get my car remapped (custom coded) within a few weeks. I'll wait for my EvoMS to come and then she goes but i have a few questions about my setup and the possible output.

Setup:

Engine BWJ, 39000 Miles on it
ATP 3" DP with 1x 200cpsi Cat into the stock catback
Forge DV
latest "N"-Revision PCV Valve
changed Cam Follower ( no wear )
Stock HPFP ( 110 Bar standard peaks at 119bar on stock map since DP and Forge DV are installed )
Incoming this week: Evo MS V-Flow /w Heatshield

the breathing mods are done and i'll be sure that the car feels much easier and stronger after that. But i want to tune it with the new components.

It's is a Daily Driver & Family Car, i dont need a stage 2 remap....300bhp and at most 300ft/lbs are absolutely enough!

So here's my question, is it possible to remap it just a little? I'll be sure with this mods a standard stage 1 map will push 320bhp and 320-330 ft/lbs, am i right? I don't want to **** up my dmf or clutch as well. I'm a really sparring clutch user....i release it on drive off @ 1000 rpm and floor it then, start thru in stop & go traffic @ second gear with only 800rpms...no problem when it rattles a little bit aslong the clutch is not under load.

So is it possible to map it slighter since the mods gave the car a good power up anyways?

Reading something about Timing, Fuel, Boost Numbers to set up! is that the key?

I'm a Mechanic but on the Dyno i'am a bloody noob^^

I want to go to chipfactory in Austria...they offer a "stage 1 remap" with 283 hp and ca. 280ft/lbs on a stock engine but hey says " lets custom code it and we'll see what we will get" - he's done a lot stuff on hill climb and history cup races and also many many gti's and s3, i believe this guy somehow ^^

thank you!
Klaus

Some of your mods are for Stage2 and some for Stage1

if i was you i would get an off the shelf generic tune like REVO or APR Stage1 or Stage2 and leave it at that

As above - APR and Revo have a far better rep than custard code on the 2.0tfsi.

Yeah, oh the shelf with some slight adjustments would more than suffice.

Yes i want to run a modified standard datafile to fit all new parts into the ecu and don't exceed the stage 1 limits with simply upload a APR or Revo Tune......of course b/c of the clutch and the hpfp!

You read different things about the clutch on the mq350, also when i'm not a clutch murderer.

Maybe i have to try but next Revo Dealer is 400kms away and next APR Dealer is 500kms away

Only a few bits higher, not more than 300lbs/ft and im lucky b/c i think a stage 1 tune will pop higher numberswith dp and intake but serious...it's a turbo engine and i want to hear some turbo spool and a deep growl out of the exhaust when it loads in and thats happening now! Can't wait for my evo ms intake to come :)

Maybe my imagination was disturbed by a FQ300 Evo 8 with intake and a mongoose exhaust system...that's what a inline 4 Turbo engine should sound and that's were my leon should go :)

And i'm sure with some more boost the sound will increase a lot.

Thank you so far guys!
