Cupra 280 Downpipe decat with Stage 1?

hi, I would like to do a Stage 1 on my Cupra 280, but before doing it I am undecided whether to put a Downpipe without Cat, in your opinion is it worth it? In terms of sound, does it make too much noise? I already have a modified exhaust that makes enough noise, I wouldn't want it to be too annoying at low rpm, but in terms of power will I get a perceptible gain?

If you're fitting a downpipe its Stage 2 you'll need not Stage 1.

As for decat, I don't think the gains are worth it over a sports cat and the downpipe with sports cat should give you enough noise that you may want to add an extra resonator in depending on how loud you like it.

I can ask the same question. Why have a car that smell bad and pisses people off behind you. But I think I know the answer.
If you don't care for others or live alone, the benefits will be above 150km/h but for a stage 1 you don't even need an aftermarket air filter. So if you want pops and bangs, antilag with flames poping out, I dont think that you are asking the right questions. The best thing to do is having a target. Go to your tuner and he will tell you what you'll need for the hp you want and do compromises with the budget you have. Just find a good tuner with experience in EA888 gen3 engines.
