This is the one to beat so far, unfortunately I have to look for 15k+ miles due to my commute - Also awaiting a quote from lease4less, who'll hopefully do me a slightly better deal as I lease my current car with them!

Be interested to see what anybody else has found, looking to order one in the near future if the price is right.

8.5k over 2 years .

I don't think it's a good deal, at that price I'd look at near new.

Do you think you'll go over the 15k if not may be cheaper to get 10k then pay the charages

I don't think the deals from when the 290 came out will be repeated though - And yeah I'll probably go over if anything

Looking to keep capital in the bank to be honest, not looking to commit to financing etc

One option is to find a used 280 for under £17k and pay cash but would prefer a car in warranty

You can a 280 well under 17!

How many miles do you think you'll do rather than need?

Forgot to mention, I'd want a 280 that isn't red and has under 15k miles on it, which is do-able, there is a couple!

My commute is 45 miles a day, and I tend to drive a lot on weekends and after work so probably will be 14-16k

yea is do-able... prices of the 280/290 are amazing compared you the rivals! but i understand the appeal of lease!

to be honest with lease your best off going for whats on offer, have you looked at the golf r prices?

Yeah but only on lease4less, they're approx £40 a month more which is quite substantial - Decent deals on the 1.8TSI Ibiza Cupra, Octavia VRS and Golf GTD's but wouldn't be quite as exciting as a 280-300

That many miles and you're getting a 2.0 petrol? That'll cost you a fortune surely? I'd be looking at some big stinking diesel doing 45 miles per day

10k a year over 24 for only £249
That's why I cancelled the SC Titanium.
